Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to floorplangenerator.net and the Floor Plan Generator browser-based editor (together, the "Service"). In these Terms, "we," "us," and "Floor Plan Generator" refer to the operator of the Service.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Who May Use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms where you live. If you have not reached the age of legal majority, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use of the Service.

If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

The Service

The current Service provides a free browser-based editor for drawing floor plans in 2D, arranging doors, windows, stairs, and furniture, viewing layouts in 3D, and exporting supported file formats.

Projects, snapshots, and editor preferences are normally stored in your browser. The Service does not promise cloud storage, synchronization, or recovery of local projects. You are responsible for exporting backups and keeping them in a safe place.

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We will provide notice when required by law, but we do not guarantee that every feature or file format will remain available.

License to Use the Service

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. This license does not transfer ownership of the Service, its software, branding, interface, or included assets.

You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service except where applicable law expressly allows it.

Your Projects and Materials

You keep any rights you have in floor plans and other material you create. We do not claim ownership of project data that remains on your device.

You are responsible for the material you create, import, export, or send through the Service. You must have the rights needed to use that material, and it must not violate law, privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or another person's rights.

If you send a project, screenshot, or other material to us for support, you give us permission to access and use it only as needed to handle your request, maintain security, and comply with law.

Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Use the Service in violation of law or another person's rights.
• Upload or distribute malware, unlawful material, or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Attempt to bypass security, access another user's data, probe non-public systems, or interfere with the Service.
• Use automated traffic in a way that overloads the Service or disregards published access controls.
• Misrepresent your identity or use the Service to facilitate fraud or harm.

We may block or limit access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, or the public, or when these Terms are violated.

Accounts

The current editor can be used without an account. If an account feature is enabled and you create an account, you must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Fees

The current public version is free and does not offer paid plans. Before introducing a paid feature, we will present its price, billing terms, renewal terms, and any applicable refund terms at or before purchase and update these Terms as needed.

Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to, depend on, or embed software and services supplied by third parties. Their own terms, privacy policies, and licenses may apply. We are not responsible for a third party's service, content, availability, or handling of information.

No Professional Advice

Floor Plan Generator is a general planning and visualization tool. It does not provide architectural, engineering, surveying, construction, safety, accessibility, zoning, permit, or building-code advice.

Measurements, layouts, exports, and 3D views may contain errors or differ from real conditions. A qualified professional must verify any plan used for construction, permitting, property transactions, safety decisions, or other work where accuracy is important.

Ownership of the Service

The Service, excluding your project data, is owned by or licensed to the operator and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Product names, logos, interface design, software, documentation, and included content may not be used beyond the license granted in these Terms.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not make warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or suitable for a particular purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so part of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of use, or business interruption arising from the Service.

Our total liability for claims arising from the free Service will not exceed USD 100 or the minimum amount required by applicable law, whichever is greater. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms are subject to the laws that apply to the operator, the Service, and your use. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected. A dispute may be brought before a court or other body that has lawful jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will post the revised version with a new date and provide additional notice when required by law. Changes apply prospectively from their effective date.

General Terms

If a provision of these Terms is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue to apply. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
